We have been making a living designing bathrooms for several decades. And all this time we are still struggling with the seemingly unsolvable task of fitting all the comfortable functions of the bathroom into the smallest possible area.

One of the biggest challenges is a fully functional 4m2 bathroom, which is based on the area of Eastern European prefabricated cores and at the same time currently also on the pressure to minimize living space due to overcrowding.

Try to imagine the smallest possible bathroom, in which you would take a comfortable shower, take a bath, use the toilet with the bidet function, wash and dry your laundry, all with plenty of storage space and also thinking about functionality for the youngest. In the idea, you will move on an area somewhere around 8m2 for this bathroom. And that’s why we are here.

In 2019, the idea was born to significantly save space in the bathroom by bridging the toilet. The available sources show that no one before us came up with such a solution. That is why I dare say that we are coming up with a completely new solution that significantly changes the current work with the bathroom layout. Thanks to this „Drawbridge“ solution, we reduce the area of the bathroom by half, we do not hang sanitary wares on the walls, we do not actually make interventions in the walls, because a self-supporting block is created. At the same time, this solution enables substantial water savings. We minimize installation time and make it so easy that you can install this bathroom by yourself.

Right now, we are working hard to make LAVAQA see the light of day and become a sought-after product.
